ProFaux Waxes start with high quality acrylic resins that remain translucent, take a beautiful burnish, serve as a protective coating and most importantly are paintable down the road. When your clients are ready for a change these acrylic waxes can be primed and painted without special surface preparation. ProFaux Waxes are applied with a damp cellulose sponge in a small circular pattern. Also, they create wonderful textural effects when applied with a blue steel spatula in a crosshatch pattern. Used sparingly over well sealed surfaces, ProFaux Acrylic Waxes can cover up to 1000 sq. ft./Gallon.

Pro Faux Pigments are water soluble. Professionals love our rich color selection. A little of these colors goes a long way too. These pigments contain no strong binders which makes them very flexible to work with! When the desired effect is achieved, Pro Faux's Zero Gloss Varnish or Acrylic Waxes can be used to "lock up" the color for years of maintenance-free beauty.

ProFaux Introduces Pro-Bella
Multi-Effect Acrylic Plaster

Pro-Bella, ProFaux’s newest multi-effect acrylic plaster, is easy to use, fully tintable with universal colorants and dries to a hard, durable film. Pro-Bella is creamy smooth, yet somewhat sticky for creating better peaks and texturing possibilities. Its slightly porous nature makes it makes it ideal for reproducing cut stones as well as overall wall textures. Best of all, Pro-Bella can be applied thicker than conventional acrylic plasters without the fear of cracking!

Pro-Bella may be colored using ProFaux Stonewash powder wash applications. Top coating may be accomplished with various products and methods using tinted Open-Time Glaze, Zero Gloss Varnish and all ProFaux Acrylic waxes. For pitted metal effects, basecoat Pro-Bella with any Pro-Metallic Paint, apply dark overglaze and wipe off excess. Pro-Bella, the name says it all!
