Description
AkroLime is a lime based traditional polishing plaster or antique stucco using an aged lime based formula used by the craftsmen in Europe to create fantasy marble in the palaces of the Venetian nobles.
This remarkable look is created by multiple overlapping of AkroLime then burnishing the finish to a marble like sheen. The technique used is by trowel or spatula in a cross-hatching manner movement. AkroLime can be used in all commercial and residential applications and can be waxed with ProFaux Simple Shine, EZ Burnish or Flat Wax for added beauty and washability.
Approximate coverage is 150-200 sq.ft./gal.
Application Notes:
– Using a 4 or 6-in. steel spatula or trowel cross hatch the AkroLime in 3 passes, overlapping in small movements until a full cover is obtained.
– Before this is fully dry, you may burnish to a satin sheen with the spatula. If you do not wish to burnish, proceed to next step.
– The last coat can either be diluted with a little water or wax to produce a more defined or translucent look. You can get a polychrome effect with this product producing many shades from one tone.
